St. Louis, Missouri. – Prudential Select Properties announced that George Bruns has assumed the role of President/CEO, effective April 16, 2009. Additionally, the company announced the retirement of Sharon Huber as president effective April 16, 2009.
George has been part of the Prudential Select Properties leadership team since February 2008, when he joined as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Prudential Select Properties he was Senior Vice President & General Manager for Gundaker Realtors, St. Louis operations for 16 years and served two years as Senior Vice President for Coldwell Banker Gundaker. He was also Chief Operating Officer for Prudential Americana Realtors in Las Vegas, Nevada for two years.

Sharon Huber announced her retirement as the Company’s president, after serving two and a half years as President/CEO. At its meeting on April 8, 2009, the Board of Directors approved the appointment of George Bruns as president in addition to his current role as COO of Prudential Select Properties. Huber will remain in a consultative position and will complete her term as a Director of the St. Louis Association of Realtors. She will retain an ownership stake in the company along with Angie Ignatowski, Deb Colburn and Maryann Vitale.
Huber stated, "I am looking forward to retirement and spending time with my husband. It’s been a privilege to be a part of Prudential Select Properties and I’m looking forward to continue watching it grow."
